For the last four years I've been working on reading about Russian intellectual history with my Russian language tutors. To help me understand the conversation between different movements across time, I've identified ten themes that almost every movement in Russian intellectual history has an opinion on. My ultimate goal is to create the visualization I've mocked-up on the right. Each tree is a movement and each branch is one of the ten themes. This spreadsheet (scroll below) is where I'm keeping track of notes before I transfer them to the tree. This is a work in progress, so expect the cells of the spreadsheet to fill in over the next few years. Eventually, I'll post the completed poster here as well.
